Walking Towards Female Empowerment: Tips and Workouts

The WIN - What Women Need - project represents an innovative fusion of sport and social inclusion, designed to address the challenges of women's social isolation and gender-based violence, issues that have further escalated during the pandemic crisis.

Involving four partners from Italy, Croatia and Spain, the project aims to work synergistically to address these issues, actively involving women, families and local communities.

Goals

The main objective of the project is to promote women's emancipation by creating a strong social network that fosters meaningful relationships and combats social isolation. This objective translates into a series of targeted actions, including the organization of sports activities aimed at women of all ages, the implementation of surveys to monitor the progress of the project, and the creation of an online platform to provide continuity to the initiatives over time.

Contributions

One of the distinctive features of the project is the active participation of the four partner companies, each with specific expertise in the sports, social and environmental fields.

From ASI Comitato Provinciale di Pesaro Urbino to Finswimming Team Novi Jelkovec, each partner brings a unique contribution to the achievement of the project's objectives, thus helping to promote greater gender equality and social cohesion among women and within the local communities involved.
